Salary Range: $77,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in their processes and product quality.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and control plans.
• Support new product introduction by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant quality tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Proficiency in conducting supplier audits, evaluating supplier capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software and techniques.
• - Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer).
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 8D or FMEA.
• - Proficiency in a secondary language relevant to the supplier base (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish).
