Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new products and processes.
• Facilitate complex Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies like 8D or Six Sigma.
• Develop, implement, and optimize quality control plans, inspection methods, and test procedures to ensure product and process compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and generate comprehensive reports to inform decision-making and drive strategic quality improvements.
• Support internal and external audits (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and ensure adherence to quality management system requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).
• Strong understanding and application of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving techniques.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ CSSBB) certification.
• Experience applying AI/Machine Learning techniques for predictive quality or process optimization.
• Proficiency in advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for complex Design of Experiments (DOE) and multivariate analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated manufacturing sector (e.g., Medical Devices, Aerospace, Automotive).
