Salary Range: $63,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure daily/weekly output targets are consistently met.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste in finishing operations.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Provide training and development for finishing operators on equipment, techniques, and quality control procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance for equipment repair and preventative maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing finishing department.
• Strong knowledge of various finishing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce quality control standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices relevant to finishing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with advanced quality control tools such as FMEA or SPC.
• Proven ability to train and mentor production staff on new processes or equipment.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or similar production tracking software.
