Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and matching to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH/wire) and checks for vendor invoices.
• Generate customer invoices for manufactured goods and services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Apply customer payments accurately to open invoices and reconcile daily cash receipts.
• Perform collections activities on past-due accounts, communicating professionally with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Assist with month-end close procedures related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system and ensure compliance with company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and standard accounting procedures.
• Demonstrated high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in data entry and financial record keeping.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for vendor and customer inquiries/collections.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) common in manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
• Familiarity with inventory accounting or cost accounting principles.
• Experience with automated invoicing systems or electronic data interchange (EDI).
