Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Create, debug, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and multi-axis milling machines.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding methods.
• Perform program simulation and verification to ensure part quality and machine safety.
• Collaborate with design engineers and machinists to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
• Develop and design custom fixtures, jigs, and tooling as required.
• Conduct first article inspections and implement necessary program adjustments.
• Maintain and organize a library of CNC programs, tool data, and setup sheets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM).
• Strong understanding and application of G-code and M-code programming.
• Proven experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Solid knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis machining programming.
• Proficiency in advanced CAD modeling for fixture design or part modification.
• Hands-on experience with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMM programming or advanced in-process gauging.
