Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Create, debug, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and multi-axis milling machines.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding methods.
- Perform program simulation and verification to ensure part quality and machine safety.
- Collaborate with design engineers and machinists to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Develop and design custom fixtures, jigs, and tooling as required.
- Conduct first article inspections and implement necessary program adjustments.
- Maintain and organize a library of CNC programs, tool data, and setup sheets.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM).
- Strong understanding and application of G-code and M-code programming.
- Proven experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Solid knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and material properties.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with 5-axis machining programming.
- Proficiency in advanced CAD modeling for fixture design or part modification.
- Hands-on experience with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMM programming or advanced in-process gauging.
