Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Weld Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and part geometries.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate weld placement and quality.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
• Conduct quality inspections of welded components, identifying and correcting defects.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product design.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate and maintain various welding equipment

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, VT)
