Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Working Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues, coordinating with maintenance and engineering as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, initiating requisitions to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports, detailing output, scrap rates, and any deviations from planned schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1+ year experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language.
