Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across the Walker area seeking CMM Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Usual Responsibilities

• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality problems.
• Follow safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Write and edit CMM programs for new and existing parts.
• Set up and run CMM inspections to verify dimensions.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to create measurement plans.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and adjust programs as needed.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment is working properly.
• Document inspection results and generate reports for quality team.

Recommended Qualifications

• Knowledge of measurement principles and inspection techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with CAD models and offline programming.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Certification in GD&T or CMM operation.
• Experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
