HR Generalist | Holt, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Administers benefits programs and assists employees with inquiries.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
  • Conducts HR investigations and resolves employee relations issues.
  • Develops and delivers HR training programs for employees and management.
  • Maintains accurate HR records and generates reports for analysis.
  • Supports health and safety initiatives and workers' compensation claims.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
