Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex automation system failures to minimize production downtime.
- Develop and optimize robotic and automated material handling solutions.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements through automation.
- Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on automation equipment.
- Manage automation projects from conception through commissioning, including budget and timeline adherence.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Hands-on experience with the design, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and vision systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex automation issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices for automation system implementation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick) for quality inspection or guidance.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical) for system design and layout.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration with automation layers.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
