Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and components in industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify electrical malfunctions using schematics, multimeters, and other testing devices.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Calibrate and adjust electrical controls, sensors, and instrumentation to optimize machine performance.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and startup of new electrical systems and production equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and machinery
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
• Robotics maintenance and repair experience
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) commissioning and troubleshooting
• Arc Flash safety training and certification
