Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and maintain PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Design, specify, and integrate industrial control components, sensors, and actuators.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex automation and electrical system malfunctions.
  • Lead the commissioning, startup, and testing of new control systems and machinery.
  • Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, control narratives, and technical documentation.
  • Implement and optimize automation solutions to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements and system integration.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex automation systems and controls.
  • Experience with motion control systems, including servo drives, VFDs, and associated programming.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience integrating manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with automation layers.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, SQL) for data acquisition, analysis, or custom tool development.
  • Experience with industrial robotics, machine vision systems, or advanced motion control applications.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms, cloud-based data solutions, or data analytics tools.
