Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications.
- Utilize various metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to ensure product compliance.
- Document inspection results accurately, create quality records, and maintain traceability for all inspected items.
- Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action procedures as required.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in root cause analysis to implement effective preventive measures.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with calibration schedules.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Internal auditor training or experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Experience performing calibration of measurement tools and equipment.
