Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and manage a robust supplier network for raw materials and components.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production to ensure timely material availability.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.
• Ensure all purchased materials comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to enhance departmental performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and relationship building.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced procurement software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and quality control standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
