Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs.
• Adjust and calibrate machinery and equipment to meet product specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections and obtain approval for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Optimize machine parameters and process settings for efficiency and quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment during changeovers.
• Document setup procedures, parameters, and any deviations encountered.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in machine setup, adjustment, and operation for various manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC or robotics programming.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design or component analysis.
• Ability to train or mentor less experienced technicians.
