The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Recruiters who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit skilled trades, production operators, and technical roles for manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing hiring managers to define technical requirements and develop accurate job descriptions.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a high volume of manufacturing positions, from requisition to offer.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for critical manufacturing roles.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' technical aptitude, safety mindset, and fit within a production environment.
• Utilize industry-specific sourcing strategies, including trade schools, industry networks, and technical job boards.
• Negotiate competitive offers and facilitate onboarding for new manufacturing hires.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Recruiter, with a focus on manufacturing, industrial, or technical roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and typical roles (e.g., engineers, production operators, skilled trades).
• Proficiency in various sourcing techniques for hard-to-fill technical and production positions.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (e.g., lean manufacturing, automation).
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades or unionized workforces.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety or quality standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
• Proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms prevalent in industrial environments.
