Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in in-process production, and finished goods against quality specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product dimensions.
• Document inspection results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and databases.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment and disposition.
• Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Conduct routine calibration and maintenance checks on inspection tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality discrepancies and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data collection.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Familiarity with CMM programming or advanced metrology techniques
