Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling and fixtures according to specifications.
• Perform trial runs and initial quality checks to validate setup accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related mechanical or process issues.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on assigned machinery.
• Document setup parameters, procedures, and changeover details accurately.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during all setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (2+ years recommended) in machine setup, changeovers, and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues on production machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision, including performing first article inspections and quality control checks.
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools, and a strong commitment to workplace safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming (G-code) or machine control languages
• Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing designs or fixtures
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience with advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy material handling equipment
