Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, including MES, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of all production-critical IT systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and OT environments.
• Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of new manufacturing software and hardware solutions (e.g., ERP modules, IoT devices).
• Oversee IT support operations, providing timely resolution for manufacturing plant issues and user requests.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and services specific to manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through technology adoption, aligning IT strategy with production goals and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems (ERP, MES), and operational technology (OT) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading IT teams, managing projects, and overseeing IT budgets.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data integrity practices for industrial control systems (ICS) and OT.
• Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies that enhance manufacturing operational efficiency and support business growth.
• Proficiency in managing IT vendor relationships, contract negotiation, and service level agreements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) integration.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Direct experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or specific manufacturing ERP modules.
• Understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications and data analytics in a factory setting.
