Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and administrative positions.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, particularly those related to manufacturing safety.
  • Administer HR policies and programs covering performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding, emphasizing safety protocols, company culture, and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data, generating reports for management.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs for all employees, including technical and safety training for production staff.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address workforce planning needs and foster a positive work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and payroll administration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a unionized workforce or collective bargaining agreements.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and supporting workplace safety programs.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing-specific HRIS or timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos).
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
