Salary Range: $124,000 - $173,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, including variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and product profitability.
• Implement and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making and drive cost efficiencies.
• Manage inventory valuation, obsolescence reserves, and ensure accurate inventory accounting practices.
• Lead the annual external audit process and ensure timely completion and resolution of findings.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
• Deep expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their application in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for manufacturing companies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or significant optimization projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analytics.
• Prior experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, medical devices).
