Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, etc.) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to offsets and tooling as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or production issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code, with the ability to make program offsets and edits.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Knowledge of various materials and cutting tools, and their application in machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience operating CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 5-axis machining or other complex multi-axis operations.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
