Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and debug CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Interpret complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications for accurate program creation and data analysis.
- Execute CMM inspections, analyze measurement data, and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Validate and verify CMM programs for accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with quality standards.
- Design and implement appropriate part fixturing and setup procedures for CMM measurements.
- Troubleshoot CMM program errors, measurement discrepancies, and machine-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize inspection processes and provide metrology support.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
- Solid knowledge of metrology principles and inspection techniques.
- Experience with CAD software for model-based programming and feature extraction.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience designing or specifying inspection fixtures.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and methodologies.
- Certification in specific CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., laser scanners, vision systems).
