Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment to join metal components according to specifications.
- Inspect and test welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and incomplete fusion.
- Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Select appropriate welding consumables and adjust parameters based on material type and thickness.
- Document welding activities, including materials used, settings, and inspection results.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Weld Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Proficiency in various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and practices.
- Experience with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Certification in welding processes (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2) is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with robotic welding systems
- - Certified welding inspector (CWI) or similar certification
- - Proficiency in welding process simulation software
- - Knowledge of advanced NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic, eddy current)
