Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute validation protocols for manufacturing processes, equipment, and software.
  • Document all validation activities, including test results, deviations, and change controls.
  • Investigate and resolve any deviations or out-of-specification results identified during validation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GMP) and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) to define validation requirements.
  • Maintain and update validation documentation and databases.
  • Participate in the qualification of new equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and revalidation of existing validated systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or related scientific field.
  • Proven experience in validation activities within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, food & beverage).
  • Strong understanding of validation principles, including IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), PQ (Performance Qualification), and CSV (Computer System Validation).
  • Experience in developing and executing validation protocols, reports, and change control documentation.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
  • - Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
  • - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation.
  • - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
