Salary Range: $63,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, including new hires, experienced operators, and supervisors.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skills assessments, and discussions with department managers.
  • Design and deliver training materials, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations on topics such as safety procedures, equipment operation, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, measuring knowledge retention and impact on performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, completion dates, and assessment results.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to manufacturing training.
  • Collaborate with external training providers or subject matter experts when specialized training is required.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Human Resources, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to assess training needs, measure effectiveness, and report on outcomes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt)
  • - Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content development
  • - Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • - Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
