Validation Engineer | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation protocols for manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Analyze validation data and generate comprehensive validation reports.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for deviations and non-conformances found during validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP) and internal quality standards.
• Maintain and update validation documentation, including Master Validation Plans and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) to define validation scope and requirements.
• Support change control activities by assessing the validation impact of proposed changes.
• Participate in audits and inspections related to validation activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in developing, executing, and documenting validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, Part 210/211), and other relevant industry standards.
• Experience with various validation methodologies, including process validation, equipment qualification, and computer system validation (CSV).
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and deviation investigation.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar industry-specific regulations.
• - Experience with automated testing frameworks or scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
