Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate bi-weekly or weekly payroll for all manufacturing and administrative employees.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including FLSA and manufacturing-specific overtime rules.
- Administer and maintain the time and attendance system, verifying employee hours, shifts, and leave requests.
- Process new hires, terminations, status changes, and deductions, ensuring proper setup in the payroll system.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and prepare payroll-related journal entries.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate detailed payroll reports for management, accounting, and regulatory agencies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paychex) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, wage & hour regulations, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and process complex payroll components such as shift differentials, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with time & attendance systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP eTime).
- Familiarity with payroll processing for unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
- Exposure to payroll modules within large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills for labor cost reporting and variance analysis.
