Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality conformance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify and tag non-conforming products, initiating appropriate containment procedures.
• Perform first-article inspections and provide feedback to production.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances.
• Experience with documenting inspection results and generating quality reports.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in GD&T interpretation.
• Experience operating CMMs or other automated inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
• ASQ certification (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Quality Technician).
