Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Staff Accountants who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment application, and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with inventory accounting, including cycle counts, cost analysis, and valuation.
• Participate in internal control testing and provide documentation for audits.
• Prepare various financial reports and ad-hoc analyses as requested by management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities through data compilation and analysis.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory valuation and cost analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
• - Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their financial implications
