Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness for manufacturing transactions.
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts, including inventory, work-in-process, and cost of goods sold.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, adhering to established deadlines.
• Support the development and analysis of standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Participate in the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies within the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Strong understanding of inventory costing methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, Average Cost).
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory costing methods (e.g., standard costing, FIFO, LIFO).
• - Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• - Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• - Certification such as CPA or CMA.
