Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shipping and receiving team members, fostering a productive work environment.
• Manage inventory levels for incoming materials and outgoing finished goods, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with purchase orders, initiating necessary corrective actions.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring their proper functioning.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members on shipping and receiving procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• - Forklift certification or demonstrated proficiency
• - Basic understanding of inventory control principles
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts
