Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all daily finishing department activities and personnel.
• Ensure finished products consistently meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to achieve daily output targets and deadlines.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing technicians on equipment operation, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Oversee routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of all finishing equipment.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies within the finishing area.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations (e.g., assembly, inspection, packaging).
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and ability to ensure high product standards.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP systems or specialized production planning software.
• Certification in a relevant advanced finishing technique (e.g., NACE, specific coating application, advanced polishing).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent advanced safety leadership training.
