Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions.
• Facilitate complex problem-solving using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control Plans, FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and process flow diagrams.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other advanced statistical techniques to monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Conduct internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle and resolve quality issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D problem-solving).
• Strong understanding and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for process improvement, utilizing relevant software.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis and data visualization using programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience leading quality system audits (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949)
• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
