The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, implement, and optimize quality control plans, inspection methods, and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC), Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product launches.
• Conduct comprehensive quality data analysis to identify trends, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and ensure adherence to quality management system (QMS) standards.
• Perform internal and external audits to verify compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, Lean Six Sigma).
• Strong knowledge and application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100) and internal auditing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis using software such as Minitab for process improvement and root cause analysis.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and modeling.
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Demonstrated experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies for new product development.
• Practical experience applying machine learning or predictive analytics for quality control and defect prevention.
