Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for critical quality issues.
• Develop, implement, and optimize advanced quality control plans, inspection strategies, and statistical process control (SPC) methods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other advanced quality methodologies to enhance product and process quality.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure Design for Quality (DFQ) and manufacturability.
• Manage and improve supplier quality performance through audits, process development, and qualification activities.
• Analyze complex quality data, trends, and metrics to identify systemic issues and proactively recommend strategic quality improvements.
• Conduct internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to ensure compliance and drive system enhancements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated mastery of core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC).
• Proficient in advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis) with a strong record of driving corrective actions.
• Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ CQE) and/or Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred) certification.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analytics
