Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes according to job specifications.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools and gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to optimize part quality and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or operational issues.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.

Recommended Qualifications

• Direct experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
• Ability to perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic G-code/M-code program edits.
• Experience conducting first-article inspections and in-process quality control checks.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
• Ability to read, interpret, and make minor edits to G-code programs.
• Knowledge of tooling selection and optimization for precision machining.
• Experience performing routine machine preventative maintenance.
