Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical specifications.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
• Adjust machine offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain part quality and optimize production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms or production issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and tool changes.
• Document production data, including part counts, scrap, and downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, including GD&T.
• Skilled in precision measurement using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and various gauges.
• Ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code edits.
• Experience with in-process quality control and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor machine maintenance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced G-code programming and optimization skills.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for part visualization or program review.
