Salary Range: $67,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise tool room staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the tool room.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of tooling specifications, maintenance logs, and usage.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to support manufacturing operations and new product development.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize tool room efficiency and reduce costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in a tool room environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of various machining processes, tooling, and metrology.
• Experience with CNC programming and operation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
