Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute advanced X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) inspections for a diverse client base.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex inspection projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Develop, validate, and implement new NDT procedures and techniques.
- Interpret inspection results, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to clients.
- Train and mentor junior NDT technicians, sharing best practices and promoting skill development.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of high-end NDT equipment.
Recommended Qualifications:
- ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with extensive hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to guide technical projects.
- Expert-level proficiency with industrial X-Ray and CT systems and associated software.
- Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and failure modes.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Michigan for this exciting opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASNT NDT Level III certification in RT and/or CT.
- Experience in a lead or supervisory NDT role within a 3rd party lab.
- Background in aerospace, medical device, or automotive inspection.
- Project management experience for inspection initiatives.
