Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Manage payroll processing, including deductions, tax filings, and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Assist with inventory valuation and tracking of cost of goods sold (COGS) for manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Support year-end closing procedures and provide documentation for audits.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) principles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping and reconciliations
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Understanding of fixed asset management and depreciation for manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to assist with production-related budget variance analysis.
