Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily activities of a manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor new and existing team members on safety procedures, operational standards, and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety checks.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products and work in progress, addressing any deviations.
• Manage employee schedules, attendance, and performance, providing feedback and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to communicate production status and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and manage a team of production employees.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
• Forklift certification
• Basic understanding of preventative maintenance
• Experience with quality control procedures
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
