Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of shop floor employees.
• Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of manufactured goods.
• Train and mentor new and existing employees on processes and safety.
• Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies for the shop floor.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and management on production improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address production issues efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Experience with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex machinery and production processes
• - Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC)
• - Proficiency in using production scheduling and inventory management software
