Salary Range: $84,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Review and approve incoming material inspection reports and test results.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring supplier readiness and quality.
• Manage supplier qualification and de-qualification processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier base to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, and corrective action processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100) and their application to supplier development.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools for supplier performance monitoring and improvement.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with AS9100 or other aerospace quality management systems
• - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• - Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) software
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
