Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Staff Accountants. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card statements.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support the inventory accounting function, including cycle counts and variance analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Epicor)
• - Understanding of inventory valuation methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average)
