Value Stream Manager | Holt, MI

Salary Range: $105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end flow of materials and information within a designated value stream.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, lead time, and costs.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize operational efficiency and throughput.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve value stream goals.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track value stream performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving within the value stream.
• Manage resources and budgets effectively to support value stream objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Demonstrated success in identifying and eliminating waste within manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose process inefficiencies and develop solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and data analysis tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• - Experience with advanced statistical process control (SPC) software
• - Proven ability to implement and manage digital manufacturing solutions (e.g., MES, IIoT)
• - Strong understanding of supply chain optimization principles
