Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, CNC) according to job specifications.
  • Operate press machinery to produce parts efficiently and safely.

  • Load raw materials into machines and unload finished components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform quality checks and identify material or product defects.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Basic machine maintenance or diagnostic skills beyond standard operator duties.
  • Proficiency with advanced quality inspection tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators) or SPC software.
