Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email, providing product information and solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotes, proposals, and lead times for manufacturing products and services.
  • Process sales orders efficiently, verifying product specifications, pricing, and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain and update customer information, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities with current customers.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, escalating complex problems to appropriate internal teams.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of proven inside sales experience, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for lead management and sales tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical product features and benefits.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and targets.
  • Ability to understand and explain manufacturing processes or technical product specifications to diverse customers.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with common ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or CRM platforms tailored for manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or technical product specifications.
  • Experience working with manufacturing distributors or channel partners.
