Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies against specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product conformance.
- Verify incoming material certifications, test reports, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
- Maintain accurate and organized inspection records, logs, and databases.
- Communicate inspection status and results to purchasing, quality, and production departments.
- Assist in the disposition of rejected materials and participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) principles and inspection standards (e.g., AQL sampling).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record inspection data.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and using ERP/MES systems.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in quality or a related field is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or quality management systems (QMS) software.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) principles or advanced sampling methods.
- Ability to interpret material certifications (e.g., CoC, CoAs) and perform basic material identification.
- Prior experience with the calibration or maintenance of inspection equipment.
