Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Manage and execute daily cycle counting and periodic physical inventory processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and resolve root causes of variances.
  • Optimize inventory turns, minimize obsolescence, and reduce carrying costs.
  • Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and provide insights for purchasing and production planning.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and flow.
  • Maintain and optimize the inventory management system (e.g., ERP/MRP) for accuracy and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and implement process improvements for optimization.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory optimization strategies, and logistics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) for forecasting and reporting
  • Proficiency with specific ERP/WMS modules relevant to inventory optimization (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle SCM)
